What is the NTI-tss Plus?

Do you wake up with an aching jaw? Sore teeth? A stiff neck? A tension or morning headache? If your answer is “yes,” ask Dr. Krutchick to explain NTI-tss, a dental device that can help.
What is NTI-tss?
NTI-tss stand for Nociceptive Trigeminal Inhibition Tension Suppression System. That’s a very long name for a small device that reduces the cause of all the problems mentioned above: clenching your teeth. When the powerful muscles that clench your teeth contract forcefully, they can cause pain in the surrounding tissues, joints and other muscles.
How does NTI-tss work?
Your custom- made NTI-tss device works by diminishing the intensity of these muscle contractions. It’s a very small, custom-made clear plastic device that fits over your front teeth and makes clenching almost impossibe. Wear the NTi-tss device while you sleep at night to suppress your clenching reflex. In a few days or weeks, you’ll find the pain, soreness and tension begin to lessen and then disappear.
